Camp Sessions
Our camp runs from June to August, and is for children ages 6-14. Every week will look slightly different due to the ever-changing nature of working alongside the elements and seasons. Each group can look forward to spending time with our animals, harvesting and tasting plenty of delicious fruits and vegetables, getting their hands dirty, and exploring everything our wonderful, wild local ecosystem has to offer.
Camp runs between 9am and 4pm every weekday. Signups before May 1st are eligible for an early bird discount($395), after which time the fee will increase to $425. A 15% discount is available for additional weeks of farm camp. Click the link below to sign up!

Baby animals! At the end of spring and the beginning of summer, many of our farm animals are still very little. Learn to bottle feed calves, take care of baby chicks, and meet the piglets! The middle of June is also the beginning of strawberry season, so get ready to taste some sun-warmed berries!
Dairy/Cows

June 23rd-27th
The cows are the important animals at this farm. We will be learning how they graze, and making lots of yummy dairy products including cheese, butter, whipped cream, and yogurt! If we’re lucky, we may even find some ripe black raspberries to taste them with!
Gardening!
$395
June 30th-July 4
This week is all about bringing the farming home: we’ll be learning how to plant and care for seedlings, transplant, weed, and manage garden pests. Campers this week will be starting their own seedlings to take home, and will be tasting lots of garden veggies from the farm!
Animals on the farm
$395
July 7-11
This week, we’ll be learning to care for all of our farm animals, from the cows, the pigs, and the chickens, to even the little bugs in the soil! As we learn about each animal, we’ll be using some of the animal products they produce- be it milk, eggs, or even manure! Each animal has a role to play on the farm.
Farm Skills
$395
July 14th-18th
We’re ready to take on the farm! We’ll be learning all kinds of outdoor skills, including fire building, campfire cooking, shelter building, some plant identification, and some natural remedies you can use while outdoors! Plantain for bee stings, mint for headaches! As we head into the summer heat, we will also be harvesting more summer veggies including cucumbers, carrots, snap peas, and mayyyybe even the summer’s first corn!
Handicrafts:
Wool, wood, textiles, paper, clay
$395
July 21st-25th
Farms produce much more than food; fibers are a major agricultural product that has a huge impact on our lives. This week, we’ll be having fun with wool, making paper, and shaping some things out of clay! We’ll also be experimenting with natural dyes to dye up some beautiful textile creations.
Food Week 1
$395
July 28th-Aug 1st
This week is all about celebrating the late summer bounty on the farm. We’ll be cooking up stir-fries, tomato salads, using our wood-fired oven to make pizzas, and tasting fruits and veggies right in the garden. Get ready to eat!
Flowers!
$395
Aug 4th-8th
It’s late summer, which means the flower gardens are in full bloom. Learn the art of bouquet arranging, make beautiful flower crowns, make your own flower press, and even taste some edible flowers! This will be a blossom-filled week filled with color.
Food Week 2
$395
August 11th-15th
One week just isn’t enough to celebrate all of the food we have on the farm, so this week is food week part 2! Grilled, buttery sweet corn, delicious salads, and whipped cream-topped homemade pies await!
Field and forest
$395
August 18th-22nd
We’re headed into the fields and out to the forest! We’ll be catching bugs in the pasture, building shelters in the woods, and exploring the farm’s expansive forest! We’ll also be taking full advantage of the late summer produce at the farm– pesto pizza, anyone?
Bread, grains, and baking
$395
August 25th-29th
Grain! It’s what allowed humans to move from hunting and gathering to building entire civilizations. We’ll be following wheat on its journey from seed to plant to flour to bread, using the farm’s wood-fired oven. We’ll also be processing and tasting other kinds of grain including amaranth and millet. Note that this week may not be the best fit for our gluten-free farm campers.
FAQs
-
As we will be exploring a working farm, campers should bring clothes that can get a little dirty, as well as close-toed shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and a snack and lunch.
-
While we will be tasting food from the farm, children should bring their own snack and lunch from home. Campers will occasionally be sent home with some veggies, as we believe that enjoying the food they helped to grow is the best way to connect children to their food system.
-
