Farm Camp week 11 (August 25th-29th): Bread, Grains, and Baking
Grain! It’s what allowed humans to move from hunting and gathering to building entire civilizations. We’ll be following wheat on its journey from seed to plant to flour to bread, using the farm’s wood-fired oven. We’ll also be processing and tasting other kinds of grain including amaranth and millet. Note that this week may not be the best fit for our gluten-free farm campers.
A $100 deposit secures your child’s spot at camp. The remaining balance of $295 is due by June 1. If you are sending multiple children/signing up for multiple weeks, your second week will be discounted by 15%, to be deducted from your remaining balance. Please register each child individually.
