Each week, campers will explore and learn on our working dairy and vegetable farm. Farm camp kids will be doing activities like cow hikes, planting vegetables, learning to weed and harvest things like tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, garlic, and leeks, cooking (and of course tasting) food in the kitchen or over a fire, spending time with and learning about pigs, playing outdoor games, bringing the cows in from pasture for milking, collecting eggs from our chickens, flower arranging, learning to make cheese or bread from scratch (yes, all the way from harvesting the wheat for the flour), and so much more. Each week is non-stop farm fun. Because we are a working farm, kids get to learn directly from the farmers about what it means to work with the land and grow food sustainably.
Camp runs weekly Monday-Friday during the summer from 9-4 every day.
